The Finance Department is dedicated to providing excellence and integrity through timely & accurate reporting to all City Departments, Citizens and the Community at Large.
Making transparency a priority in DeSoto.The City has been presented with Distinguished Budget Presentation award for over 21 years. Desoto’s Finance Department has been presented with a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by GFOA for over 27 consecutive years. This is the highest form of recognition in the area of government accounting and financial reporting.
