I would propose that this would fall under a combination of Code enforcement AND Health Dept. When was the last time you took a good hard look at Tom Thumb, Kroger, Albertsons, etc. Went through the drive-thru today at Braums, the whole area including the drive, outside wall, window, door, you name it could pass for the interior of a dumpster. I refuse to shop for anything in DeSoto. Take a field trip to Midlothian or Mansfield. The difference is breathe taking. I have taken to saying to anyone that will listen, "I sleep in DeSoto but I LIVE in Waxahachie (Mansfield or Midlothian). It doesn't have to be this way. A drive along BeltLine is terrible. I'm ashamed that the land mark to turn into my street is a barbershop/bbq/domino field. The mess that used to be Brookhollow is a complete failure. The flea market idea is pure ghetto.Lived here almost 52 years and have been long silent. My error, no more. Other than the Section 8 house in my neighborhood, we still try to keep
