When you call 9-1-1 in an emergency, who answers the call?

Our dispatchers at Southwest Regional Communications Center, TX answer the call first, even before the firefighters, paramedics, or police. 

We honor and thank those invisible telecommunicators who have continued to serve in this demanding profession. They are our lifeline, our coordinators, our dispatchers, and most importantly, our friends.
