The 2021 Latino Heritage Festival will kick off National Hispanic Heritage Month, which celebrates and recognizes the immeasurable contributions made by Hispanic and Latino Americans. The festival seeks to draw attention to the cultural diversity of DeSoto and surrounding communities, and will feature traditional folkloric dance and musical performances by the legendary music group, The Latin Breed and La Dezz, arts and cultural exhibits, authentic food court, face painting, bounce houses, and plenty of family fun!
ON-SITE AND REMOTE PARKING INFORMATION FOR THE LATINO HERITAGE FESTIVAL
The DeSoto Latino Heritage Festival is augmenting on-site parking with nearby off-site parking and shuttle bus services at Disciple Central Community Church, 901 N. Polk Street at the corner of Pleasant Run and Polk Street.
Shuttle buses will pick up remote parking patrons at Disciple Central Community Church beginning at 5 PM, and take them to the DeSoto Latino Heritage Festival event site at 211 E. Pleasant Run Road (The DeSoto Amphitheater). Shuttles will then head from the event site back to the remote parking lot following this continuous service loop throughout the evening until 11 PM.
