Celebrate Black History Month at the DeSoto Public Library where it’s more than just a month. 

On February 25, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Library Multipurpose Room there will be inspirational words, songs, dance and more. 

Our keynote speaker will be DeSoto’s own Mrs. Edna Baptiste who at the age of 16 walked in the march with Dr. Martin Luther King and John Lewis. 

In addition there will be musical and dramatic performances.
