Hampton Place Estates Neighborhood Association is a voluntary homeowners group. There are approximately 250 homes in the neighborhood bounded by Charles Street, Springbrook, Hampton and Williams Avenue. There are no dues, but members make voluntary contributions once a year. Hampton Place hosts a garage sale fund raiser once a year, usually the first weekend in May.
They have an annual meeting in September each year where they elect officers. It is usually an outdoor picnic. They also sponsor a National Night Out event and a Christmas party for the neighborhood. In March, they traditionally have a meeting at the Town Center and invite a couple of city department heads to talk about the latest city happenings. Our group has also toured the fire and police stations.
Hampton Place Estates Neighborhood Association (HPENA) has received grants from the city that enabled us to install street sign toppers that say “Hampton Place Estates”. HPENA has also reimbursed residents for installing security lighting on the outside of their homes, and supplied house numbers for the rear of homes that did not have any in order to comply with city regulations.
