Youth Girls Softball Association
Registration will begin on January 17 thru April 5 
This is a local recreational softball league for ages 5 through 15. Our goal is to teach softball fundamentals, rules and skills. We emphasize on sportsmanship, team play and clean/fair competition. Click here for more information.

USA BMX Super Nationals
March 27-29 | Metroplex BMX Complex, 500 E. Centre Park Blvd.
The DeSoto Metroplex BMX Complex will host the USA BMX Super Nationals. This event will draw over 1,000 unique racers and over 3,000 spectators during the 3-day weekend. Click here for more information.  

Easter Egg-Stravaganza
March 28 | Starts at 11 a.m. | Zeiger Park, 400 Eagle Drive
Come out and join the Easter Bunny and the DeSoto Youth Advisory Council for this fun Easter egg hunt. It is free admission, but bring an Easter basket!

Kids' Fishin' Day at Briarwood Park
April 25 | 9 a.m. - 12 a.m. | Briarwood Park, 1625 W. Beltline Road
Come out to the fishin’ hole at Briarwood Park for the city’s annual Kids' Fishin’ Day. Briarwood Pond, will be generously stocked with fish to increase the odds of a memorable fishing experience. Click here for more information.
           
Music in the Park Concert Series
May 14, 16, 21
The Desoto Amphitheater is a great spot for enjoying the spring breeze and listening to live music under the stars. The MIP Series offers free performances featuring local and national talent. Click here to view this year's lineup. 

Dog Days N Desoto
May 16
This event provides a great opportunity for families to flaunt their four legged companion, hang out, compete for prizes or just play around. This event will include a fashion show, canine obstacle course and photo contest.

Fun Time Live

Every Friday Night @ 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Fun Time Live provides a social atmosphere for boys and girls in grades second through seventh grade. Admission is $10 per child and concessions are provided. The recreation center is currently offering membership passes as low as $10 per year and fitness passes for $20 per month for DeSoto residents. Our fitness center offers state-of-the-art cardiovascular and strengthening equipment.
