Jury Duty
If you receive a jury summons from the City of DeSoto, you must appear in court at 211 E. Pleasant Run Road on the date specified on your summons.
The City of DeSoto conducts Jury Trials the last Wednesday of each month, beginning at 8 a.m. If selected as a juror, you will be given the opportunity to decide the verdict for citizens complaints, traffic violations, city ordinance violations, and code and animal control violations. When you serve as a juror, you will be compensated $6.00.
