SM3117 Basic C.E.R.T. Training Classes

May 15th & 22nd
September 11th & 18th

The basic training is only two days. If you are interested in one of the three dates, please contact Don Dewberry at e-mail.

Follow this link to view a 29 minute video which discusses the history of the CERT Program, what is required of volunteers and how to get involved.

This program will assist our cities in ensuring that we are doing everything possible to be prepared for any type of disaster that may occur in the future. The CERT training for community volunteers is important! Experience has shown that basic training in disaster survival and rescue skills improves the ability of citizens to survive. Citizens who complete the training will be prepared as volunteers to perform critical functions necessary during the early stages following a catastrophic disaster.
