DeSoto Civic Academy
What is the Desoto Civic Academy?
The Civic Academy is a series of eleven (11) educational sessions designed to teach DeSoto citizens about their government. Participants will learn about DeSoto's history, tour City facilities, get a behind-the-scenes look at each department and the services offered, and experience first-hand the equipment used to provide these services. The Civic Academy also affords the opportunity to meet department heads one-on-one.
