- Officers are paid bi-weekly; starting pay is competitive.
- Vacation leave is accrued at 120 hours per year, which can be used after the completion of six months of full-time service.
- Employees accrue 120 hours of sick leave per year, which can also be used after the completion of six months of full-time service.
- Eight holidays are observed per year and one personal holiday is provided per year.

- Employee health insurance and dependent insurance at a nominal cost.
- Uniforms and equipment are provided.
- College Incentive Pay at $50 per month for Associate Degree and $100 per month for Bachelor Degree.
- Certification pay is offered at $50 per month for Intermediate Certificate, $100 per month for Advanced Certificate, and $150 per month for Masters Certificate.
- Longevity Pay is $4 per month, per year of service, paid each December.
- Overtime and compensatory time is paid at time and one half.
