About the Park
This 12-acre neighborhood park was extensively renovated in 2005. As a part of the renovation in 2005, the City of DeSoto partnered with the North Central Council of Governments and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to conduct a pilot project to study alternative ways to deal with both sediment and dairy waste.

Park Amenities
This park consists of two playgrounds, located at the corners of Laurel Springs and Sandy Creek Drives. In addition, the park has a .79 mile multi-purpose trail, picnic tables, a gazebo, enhanced landscaping, and a water feature.
Junior Angler Day
This park is host to the Junior Angler Day, which is held annually in August.
