All appointees to City of DeSoto Boards, Commissions, and Committees must be residents of DeSoto prior to their appointment, and remain in the City during their tenure. All applicants will receive and are required to adhere to the attendance policy established by the City Council in Ordinance 1301-99.
Each Board or Commission is responsible for electing its own Chairperson and other Officers.
**NOTE: In order to prevent duplication of submitted applications, we ask that you submit your application when there is a "call for applicants". We truly appreciate your service to your community!
