Overview The Corner Theatre was constructed in 1996 following a City Council directive to develop a multi-use auditorium for the community's use.  It is operated by the City of DeSoto. The theater has a seating capacity of 160 and offers a stage with full sound and lighting capabilities comparable to those found in much larger facilities. The Corner Theatre's stage is 32 feet wide and 20 feet deep.  It is the home for local professional and community theater companies including the African American Repertory Theater and the CrossOver Theater Company.  It is also available for use by other arts organizations who meet the use criteria on a space-available basis.

Parking Free parking for all Corner Theatre activities is available in the multi-level parking garage in Town Center. The garage can be entered from Hampton Road or Pleasant Run Road. Once you've parked, exit the parking garage to the Town Center Courtyard and you'll see the Corner Theatre's green awning beckoning you to the theatre.  Follow this link for directions to the Corner Theatre.

In addition to rental fees, there is a $100 refundable damage deposit. Full payment of damage deposit and facility rental charges is due at the time of booking your reservation.
