Officer Richard Pittmon Scholarship
The Officer Richard S. Pittmon Memorial Scholarship was begun as means to commemorate the life of a dedicated DeSoto Police Officer and DeSoto ISD School Resource Officer, who lost his battle with cancer June 16, 2004. This $1,000 scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to a graduating DeSoto High School senior planning on entering a service oriented career. It is awarded based on academic performance and financial need.

Make checks payable to DeSoto Police Officer’s Association. Registration must be received by April 26, 2013. Payments will be accepted the day of the tournament.
