The DeSoto Joint Tax Office collects Ad Valorem property taxes for the DeSoto Independent School District, the City of DeSoto and the City of Glenn Heights. 

Payments
Payments may be mailed to the tax office, dropped off in person during office hours, or placed in the night drop located on the wall outside the office.



Due Date
Taxes are due on January 31 and delinquent on February 1. If mailed, payments must have a U.S. Postmark by January 31 to not be considered delinquent.

Note: In 2010, because January 31 falls on a Sunday, payments with a U.S. Postmark of February 1 will not be considered late.
