Quarter One Updates:

The City Council approved negotiations and the execution of a contract with Ice Stars LLC for the operation of a Holiday Ice Rink on September 19, 2023. Prior to this, the Purchasing & Parks and Recreation departments conducted interviews with ice-skating rink vendors on August 11, 2023. On Monday, December 4, 2023, the department hosted the Hometown Holiday Block Party and Tree Lighting, with approximately 2,000 attendees. The Parks department arranged vendors for various activities, including food, a trackless train, face painting, bounce houses, a magic show, and rock climbing walls for the event.
