Pleasant Run Road on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 10 am to celebrate 70 years of progress in DeSoto with history exhibits, a recognition ceremony, storytelling of our history and more. The DeSoto Public Library presents the Teen Excellence Job Readiness Program (Equipping Teens to Excel in the Workplace Through Hospitality) Saturday’s January 19th to March 30th, 2019 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Help prepare your teen to enter the 7 trillion dollar hospitality industry with this course presented by the National Association of Urban Etiquette Professionals (NAUEP) the nation’s largest etiquette association serving urban communities. Students will learn Hospitality 101, WOW Customer Service, Hosting and Greeting, Food Service, Business Ownership, Business Etiquette and Protocol and much more. This amazing experience will prepare teens to excel, give them hands on work experience and hospitality industry exposure. Space is limited so be sure to register now.
