Join us as we celebrate Black History Month for this fun and exciting painting class on Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. You will be able to create a beautiful painting by following our resident artist as she gives step by step instructions. You will be able to learn painting techniques, color theory, perspective and much more. All while enjoying delicious candy while you paint. This awesome program is for teens ages 13 to 18.   3. Teen Excellence Job Readiness Program

    The DeSoto Public Library presents the Teen Excellence Job Readiness Program (Equipping Teens to Excel in the Workplace Through Hospitality) Saturday’s January 19th to March 30th, 2019 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Help prepare your teen to enter the 7 trillion dollar hospitality industry with this course presented by the National Association of Urban Etiquette Professionals (NAUEP) the nation’s largest etiquette association serving urban communities. Students will learn Hospitality 101, WOW Customer Service, Hosting and Greeting, Food Service, Business Ownership, Business Etiquette and Protocol and much more. This amazing experience will prepare teens to excel, give them hands on work experience and hospitality industry exposure. Space is limited so be sure to register now.
