DeSoto’s Public Utilities Division Offers Free Water University Class

The DeSoto Public Utilities Department has partnered with Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center to offer a series of water efficiency and landscape maintenance classes focused on techniques to conserve water and reduce monthly water bills.  These classes are free of charge to DeSoto residents, but will require registration.  Classes are limited to 75 attendees.  You will want to sign up early to guarantee your seat for the next class.  

January 31, 2017 – Vegetable Gardening 6:30 to 8:30pm

Know where your food comes from by growing your own vegetables. Learn proper soil preparation, garden design, disease and insect identification, and the proper time to germinate vegetable seeds and/or when to transplant vegetables into your garden for the season.

This free class takes place in the DeSoto Civic Center
