On Friday, November 19, 2021, Dallas County Health and Human Services reported 293 new Positive 2019-Novel-Coronavirus-COVID-19-Cases.  209 of those cases were confirmed and 84 were probable. There have been 8,675 cumulative cases of COVID-19 in the City of DeSoto between the start of the Coronavirus Pandemic and last Monday. During the week ending November 13th, Dallas County Health and Human Services also released a spreadsheet by Cities of the number of people over 18 years of age who have been vaccinated and the percentage of the population in that city that has been vaccinated. In DeSoto, that number was 78% with at least one dose of vaccine and 62% who were fully vaccinated.
