Each year the Best Southwest Communities of Duncanville, DeSoto, Cedar Hill, and Lancaster come together for North Texas’ best Juneteenth Celebration. This year, the celebration will be hosted by the City of Duncanville on Saturday, June 17, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The event will feature four hours of live music from the area’s best musicians, a Black Author’s Expo, Cultural Expo, Wellness Expo, vendor booths, and bounce houses. The Juneteenth Celebration is a great opportunity for people to come together and celebrate African American history, culture, and entertainment with family and friends.
