Officers are paid bi-weekly; starting pay is competitive.
Vacation leave is accrued at 120 hours per year, which can be used after the completion of six months of full-time service.
Employees accrue 120 hours of sick leave per year, which can also be used after the completion of six months of full-time service.
Eight holidays are observed per year and one personal holiday is provided per year.

College Incentive Pay at $25 per month for Associate Degree or $50 per month for Bachelor Degree.
Certification pay is offered at $50 per month for Intermediate Certificate, $50 per month for Advanced Certificate, and $50 per month for Masters Certificate, with a maximum of $150 per month.
Longevity Pay is $4 per month, per year of service, paid each December.
Overtime and compensatory time is paid at time and one half.
Promotions are received on the basis of position availability, time service and successful passing scores on promotional examinations.
