Who is TAB?
The Teen Advisory Board is a group of middle and high school students who meet every month to plan and promote exciting teen programs at the DeSoto Public Library. They are committed to encouraging teen recreational reading, promoting teen literacy, and participating in community service projects.

What Do We Do?
TAB hosts and attends numerous events throughout the year including theme parties, community service and charity events, summer programs, educational seminars, job fairs and more!

Where Do We Meet?
TAB has created it's very own teen space at the library just for you! The Spot---where style meets creativity.

Why Should I Join?
Do you have a great idea for a teen program? Would you like to recommend and review books, movies, or other library materials?
Do you like having a good time, gaining experience, and meeting new people? If you answered yes then join TAB today!

strenght finder 1.jpg As we graduate high school and begin to look for careers and colleges,
we want to put our best foot forward and show the world we are here
to make a difference. Strengths Finder 2.0 helps us do that by helping
us identify and develop our strengths. Discovering your talents and gifts
is key to finding out what what you're good at doing what you love.
This book helps us do just that.

Love Your Library Month

Love your library month is all about giving back and appreciating all of the services and resources our library provides everyday. We celebrated and made sure our library was in tip-top shape by straightening books on library shelves and putting them back in order. It felt great to help out our library staff.
