Grimes and Ernie Roberts Pavilion Rentals



The Pavilions are available to DeSoto residents, non-profit organizations, and businesses as well as nonresidents.

Reservation Period


Pavilions are available April 1 through October 31. Pavilions are rented in a five hour time block or all day. Pavilions are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. You can start booking your reservation on January 1 through October 31. Please call 972.230.9650 to check availability or for more information.

Inclement Weather

Cancellation of an outdoor reservation due to inclement weather may be rescheduled. No refunds will be given for notices of cancellations after the date of the reservation.


Cancellation Policy

Any facility user who wishes to cancel an event must do so in writing during normal business hours.
  • Any facility user who cancels at least seven (7) business days prior to the event will receive a full refund of the Rental Fee and Damage Deposit paid.
  • Any facility user who cancels less than seven (7) business days of the event will receive the Damage Deposit refund only. Recurring rentals are still required to pay for cancelled space. 

Cleaning the Facility


The Permit Holder is responsible for cleaning the facility. Tables and immediate grounds must be cleared of litter at the conclusion of the reservation.

Bounce Houses


The City of Desoto does not allow Bounce Houses to be plugged into park electrical outlets. In order for a Bounce House to be used on City property, it is the responsibility of the Permit Holder to make sure the Bounce House Company provides a generator as the source for electricity.

Grills: Grills/Smokers are not allowed

Rental Pavilion Fees

Damage Deposit: A $50 refundable deposit is in addition to rental fees. All payment is due in full for Pavilion rentals.
