The Park Ridge Estates is a quiet community that consists of 199 households. Park Ridge can be accessed at Parks and Mockingbird, Parkerville and Mockingbird (north) and Parkerville and Parks. Park Ridge is located in District 2 and is represented by Councilwoman Patricia Ledbetter. Park Ridge is in close proximity to Amber Terrace Elementary School, DeSoto East Middle School, DeSoto High School and Interstate 35.
The Park Ridge Neighborhood Group serves as a unified voice for Park Ridge residents. The Group was organized by residents who made personal commitments to contribute to an attractive and safe neighborhood. Membership in the Park Ridge Neighborhood Group is on a volunteer basis. All Park Ridge residents are encouraged to actively participate in the Neighborhood Group and its neighborhood activities. Park Ridge Neighborhood Group members pay no annual dues and no fees are assessed.
The ultimate goal of the Park Ridge Neighborhood Group is to create a sense of community in Park Ridge and to create a safe and attractive neighborhood which results in a higher quality of life for all.
The Park Ridge Neighborhood Group meets on the last Thursday of each month at the DeSoto Civic Center, participates in the National Night Out, and hosts clean-up and social events to promote Park Ridge and City of DeSoto Pride!
